My name is Palmyre Manivet and I am a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator based in London, UK.

My favourite medium is watercolour, but I also paint with other media. I put a lot of thought into my pictures, working with the client to hear their brief, carrying out research, sketching preliminary drafts, and spending a long time over the final piece.

The inspiration for my work comes from beautiful interiors, spring (my favourite season!), my teenage years growing up in the Cotswolds, long walks in London where I live, and travels around the world where I love to find out about local history, myths and material culture.

I have been commissioned by private clients and small businesses to produce maps, lampshades, greeting cards, wedding suites, house portraits, wine labels, holiday mementoes and more.

My hand-painted ‘Ecstatic Dancers’ lampshade has been featured in The World of Interiors magazine (September 2020 issue).
